“ Three Dollar is a classic. Family friendly with consistent good food. A few locations have closed over the years but Windy Hills location is a stronghold. There is a speakeasy like bar in the back with great service and it's open late so it's always a anytime fav. ”
“ I love the TDC Grilled Fish sandwich! This time not so much, the service was good, the food was just ok. My guest ordered blackened fish and it was just grilled. It was not as clean inside as it usually is. And I go to the same restaurant whenever I want the fish sandwich. I will try another of their locations next time! ”
“ Very good menu and service. Was very pleased with selection and the waitress was an outstanding server. Though busy, she stayed on top of all our needs. Will dine there again next time we are in town. ”
“ Cool Sports Bar Vibes. I Didn't Dine In I Was Just On A Pick Up Mission To Try The Fried Grouper Fish Sandwich. My To Go Order Was Packed Very Nicely With Utensils, Napkins & All The Condiments Including Tartar Sauce. I Liked That They Kept My Lettuce, Tomato, & Onion To The Side So My Bun Wouldn't Get Soggy. The Crunch On The Fish Batter Was Great & The Tender Flounder Underneath Was Large & Tasty. I Will Go Back To Try The Blackened Version Of The Sandwich. The Host Who Took My Order, Was Kind, Professional & Competent. I Look Forward To Going Back. ”
“ I avoided this place because when I looked online, nothing costs $3. So why the name? But I came for a quick beer and some lemon pepper wings and it was excellent. The environment was nice and a good selection of beer. I would come again! ”
“ I'd say the 3.5 star average here is probably fair. I recently got to try this chain via Uber Eats after redeeming a $15 off promo code. I had no issues with delivery or temperature of the food. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned well. I ordered the shrimp and grits which came with garlic bread and a side choice of soup or salad - I got the salad. I also ordered mashed potatoes on the side to go with my next day's lunch, but I ended up eating them with the sauce from my entreé, since there was more sauce than grits. The potatoes had nice chunks like some homemade styles do, if you like that. I thought they were good, even though I usually prefer creamy and smooth texture. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience with shrimp and grits anywhere I can think of and this was no different. Everything tasted good with the exception of the grits being a little hard in places as it was formed in a grit cake instead of a bed. The presentation was pretty sloppy for takeout but it's understandable as they used a large container. Overall, it was still a satisfying dish, but I think I still prefer Pappadeaux, Louisiana Bistreaux, or The Atlanta Breakfast Klub for this dish in the area. The salad and bread were nice touches as a lot of restaurants make you order those a la carte these days. I probably would try more items from this chain again. It wasn't mind-blowing but it definitely was a solid, filling meal and with the discount who could complain? ”
